Reflection. The importance of a good start to the believer. By Fabian Massa.
16 He came to me from the LORD , saying, 2 Son of man, cause Jerusalem to know her abominations , 3 and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD to Jerusalem: Your birth , your birth is of the land of Canaan ; your father was Amorite and your mother a Hittite . 4 And as for thy nativity, in the day thou wast born thy navel was not cut , neither wast thou washed in water to cleanse you , nor rubbed with salt , nor swaddled at all . 5 None eye pitied thee, to do any of these , have compassion on you , but you were thrown on the open field, to the loathing of your life, the day you were born. 6 And when I passed by thee , and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, when you were in your blood I said to you ! Lives ! Yes , I told you when you were in your blood, Live !Ezekiel 16.1 - 6 RV 60
A believer who " enters the Way" through the door of repentance is a person who will grow strong in faith .A believer who " enters the Way" by promises of miraculous change without repentance , it is very difficult to achieve progress in the things of the Lord .
